Riverfest has been a week long Wichita tradition for over 40 years, but for the first time Habitat for Humanity and select Wichita companies will be teaming together to build a homeowner’s dream come true in just 8 days. LTC is honored to be part of this opportunity of challenging fun and plenty of team building.
Employees will jump into the build on Tuesday, day 5, of the project. LTC employees, from each of its three manufacturing locations, will work together to build a three-bedroom, energy-efficient house from the ground up. The development site will be located south of the RedGuard Stage near Gander Mountain. When the home is finished it will be transported off site to an existing WHFH-owned lot and sold to a Wichita Habitat for Humanity partner family.
LTC has donated time, talent and treasures to Habitat for Humanity for 8 years in order to strengthen and support the Wichita community. Each year LTC participates in a build and counts on the amazing desire of our employees to volunteer their time to help others. LTC is proud to announce that we are participating in two builds this year as we complete the Riverfest Build in June and have committed to a Rock the Block challenge in the fall of 2016.
