    Press Operator

    • Set up and operate presses and auxiliary equipment to cure and bond assemblies according to specifications.
    • Read and interpret shop orders to determine cure process specifications.
    • Connect thermocouples and vacuum lines to fittings on jigs and fixtures.
    • Adjust manual controls or enter commands in computerized control panel to regulate and activate press power supply, cooling system, vacuum, heat, and pressure gauges and recorders.
    • Monitor instruments, switches, and recorders and listen for warning signals during press operation to ensure conformance to specifications, and modifies or aborts process as required.
    • Maintain manual or computerized press processing records.

    Requires hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to lift/carry/push/pull materials; ability to stand for extended periods of time in an area with limited climate control.  This position is exposed to extreme heat and the noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

  •  Autoclave/Oven Operator

    Autoclave/Oven Operator

    Responsible for set up and operation of autoclaves, ovens, and auxiliary equipment to cure and bond composite assemblies according to specification.  Includes loading material into autoclaves/ovens, monitoring curing process, and work documentation.   Works in a loud area with exposure to extreme heat and vibration.  Required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear; and have visual acuity.  Must be able to work for extended periods of time in a noisy area with limited climate control, and move in and out of elevated area with very small maneuvering space.  Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    Maintenance Associate

    Primary duties include building and equipment maintenance; welding and fabrication.  Must able to read and understand written and verbal work orders; follow detailed instruction; and communicate questions and suggestions to supervisor.  Requires hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to lift and carry materials; ability to bend, stoop, twist, turn, reach overhead, crawl, and climb.  Must be able to work for extended periods of time in a noisy area with limited climate control.  Previous maintenance, fabrication and/or welding experience preferred.

    Quality Inspector

    • Provides detailed in-process inspections on manufactured products using detailed drawings, models, and established processes to verify conformance to design requirements.
    • Documents production non-conformances in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes.
    • Ensures company policies and procedures are complied with for the receiving and storage of composite raw materials.
    • Supports Quality Management System policies and procedure documentation; assess compliance to company and industry standards, initiate and lead continual improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

    Requires inspection experience including work with root cause/corrective action systems.
    Must be able to read and interpret design drawings; and be able to perform FAI’s, PQR’s, and SRDR’s.  Must be able to effectively communicate with engineering and production groups.
    Must be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing priorities and tasks as delegated.  Requires: hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to frequently lift/carry up to 20 lbs.; ability to stand for extended periods of time in work area with limited climate control.

    Under general direction, provides support for programs and initiatives that impact our Personal Protection Segment. Daily activities include status of deliverables for external customers, working with your internal customers to help move product, and provide status update to management. A successful candidate will be able to work with the production floor, quality inspection personnel and front line leadership to meet on time delivery with a high level of quality and do so in an efficient and profitable manner. This position reports to the Senior Program Manager responsible for Personal Protection Segment.
