    Press Operator

    • Set up and operate presses and auxiliary equipment to cure and bond assemblies according to specifications.
    • Read and interpret shop orders to determine cure process specifications.
    • Connect thermocouples and vacuum lines to fittings.
    • Adjust manual controls or enter commands in computerized control panel to regulate and activate press power supply, cooling system, vacuum, heat, and pressure gauges and recorders.
    • Monitor instruments, switches, and recorders and listen for warning signals during press operation to ensure conformance to specifications, and modifies or aborts process as required.
    • Maintain manual or computerized press processing records.

    Requires hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to lift/carry/push/pull materials; ability to stand for extended periods of time in an area with limited climate control.  This position is exposed to extreme heat, and the noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

    Supervisor – 2nd shift

    Responsible to oversee production and actively supervise personnel. Duties include:

    • Manage safety, quality and production

    • Evaluate and provide feedback on employee performance

    Provides administrative support to Sales Department, including heavy data entry and preparing paperwork for outgoing shipments.   Must have ability to work with tight deadlines, support other departments, and interface with personnel at all company levels.  Requires general computer skills, customer service experience, heavy data entry experience, high attention to detail, strong interpersonal and organization skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  Prefer experience with Microsoft AX, Wide Area Workflow, contract administration, and basic bills-of-lading knowledge.  Also prefer export experience and knowledge of EAR and ITAR.

    Engineering Technician

    Assists with product development, testing, and manufacturing design.  Requires basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude.  Must be able to read and understand written and verbal work orders; follow detailed, multi-step instructions; and communicate questions and suggestions.  Requires: hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to lift and carry materials; ability to stand for extended periods of time in a work area with limited climate control.  Prefer: coursework/training in engineering-related field; experience with SolidWorks or AutoCAD; composite experience.

  •  Machinist

    Machinist

    Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce parts. Includes fabrication, modification, and repair mechanical instruments.

    • Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output
    • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
    • Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
    • Select appropriate machines (e.g. lathes) and position or load material for a job
    • Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine etc.
    • Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues
    • Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
    • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
    • Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages

    Autoclave Operator

    Responsible for set up and operation of autoclaves, ovens, and auxiliary equipment to cure and bond composite assemblies according to specification.  Includes loading material into autoclaves/ovens, monitoring curing process, and work documentation.

  •  Inventory Lead

    Inventory Lead

    Provides leadership and training to personnel; oversees shipping and receiving functions, and ensures integrity of inventory tracking.  Enters and retrieves electronic and hard copy records, and monitors internal movement of material.  Loads, unloads, and delivers material to internal customers, as well as delivery and pick up of materials in the Wichita area.  Uses computer hardware/software to maintain inventory, enter and retrieve data and other computer input requirements.

    Must provide excellent customer service, both internally and externally; and communicate questions and suggestions to appropriate personnel.   Must be able to read and understand written and verbal work orders; follow detailed instructions; and communicate questions and suggestions to supervisor.  Requires hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to lift/carry/push/pull materials; ability to stand for extended periods of time in an area with limited climate control.    Requires current valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and ability to secure a DOT certificate.
