  •  Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift

    Job Description

    • Provide inspections on manufactured products using detailed drawings, models, and established processes to verify conformance to design requirements.
    • Documents production non-conformance in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes.
    • Ensure company policies and procedures are complied with for the receiving and storage of composite raw materials.
    • Support Quality Management System policies and procedure documentation; assess compliance to company and industry standards, initiate and lead continual improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

    Must be able to read and interpret design drawings; and be able to perform FAI’s. Must be able to effectively communicate with engineering and production groups.

    Must be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing priorities and tasks as delegated. Requires: hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to frequently lift/carry up to 20 lbs.; ability to stand for extended periods of time in work area with limited climate control.

  •  Manufacturing Associate - 1st Shift

    Description:

    Measures, cuts, applies, and layers pre-impregnated (prepreg) materials to tools, molds, and mandrels using small hand tools to create composites parts under the direction of a Supervisor or Lead.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

    • Ability to learn and/or layup parts of simple to medium complexity.
    • Learns and follows resident planning (work instructions) to measure and cut various prepreg materials to size using sheers.
    • Learns and follows resident planning (work instructions) to apply and layer prepreg materials to molds and mandrels of simple to medium complexity.
    • Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and good manual dexterity are strongly needed to perform job correctly.
    • Ability to use your hands with precision on small items and in small spaces. Must be quick and confident with hands to meet department and individual goals.
    • Correctly documents relevant data for material traceability purposes.
    • Ability to follow work instructions to ensure parts are made per customer requirements.
    • Visual inspection of both parts and tools for damage or quality issue.
    • Ability to cross train and accept additional responsibilities, including, but not limited to compacting and vacuum bagging parts.
    • Must be dependable.
    • Other Duties as assigned.

  •  Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Inventory Associate

    This position is for a Shipping/Receiving/Inventory associate who is under immediate supervision. Aids with managing inventory and movement of materials. Assists with responding to basic customer and or shipper questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services. Must be able to develop basic skills in the execution of existing procedures.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Works under immediate supervision to aid with managing inventory and movement of materials.
    • Assists with preparation of necessary shipping documentation.
    • Assists with checking arriving materials to ensure they match purchase orders.
    • Assists with flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.
    • Maintains production and delivery schedules.
    • Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving, or the warehouse, to production.
    • Manages material inventory, supplier integration strategies (VMI/3PL/supermarkets) and import/export controls
    • Works in a subzero degree environment (-20 degrees) daily for small intervals pulling freezer material for production.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with less than 2 years of relevant experience
    • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
    • Must have a valid Driver License

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous inventory movement experience
    • Basic computer skills; Excel, Word, Email
    • Forklift license preferable
