  •  Plaster Technician

    Summary:

    Creates mandrels by pouring a plaster slush mixture into molds utilizing Mold preparation and de-molding procedures under the direction of a supervisor or lead.

     

    Responsibilities:

    Mixes plaster slush to pour into molds according to work instructions.
    Communicates effectively in a team environment.
    Removes and cleans mandrels from tools.
    Repairs plaster and/or salt mandrels as needed.
    Use a computer in order to clock in and out and extract and input data into operating system.
    Willingness to learn.

     

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    Experience utilizing an ERP system; preferably Syteline.

     

    Required Skills and Experience:

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Ability to read and understand bill of materials.

    Ability to read, write, and speak English.

  •  Manufacturuing Planner

    Summary:

    Facilitates the manufacturing cycle of a product by providing clear work order instructions and the appropriate engineering revisions to the appropriate production departments. Develop, implement and maintain various manufacturing plans, bill of materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
    • Develop and integrate customer processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
    • Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
    • Investigate and resolve manufacturing related issues.
    • Perform producibility assessments for part or product designs.
    • Provide producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
    • Execute engineering and planning changes including revising released work orders while maintaining system integrity.
    • Collect, analyze and interpret manufacturing data in order to make sound decisions and judgments that impact production, personnel, and processes.
    • Prioritize assignments and work with minimal supervision while focusing on key tasks with limited time and resources.
    • Effectively liaise with quality, purchasing, production and other departments.
    • Lead and participate in team improvement processes.
    • Interpret and comprehend engineering drawings and specifications.

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Experience utilizing an ERP system; preferably Syteline.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • CATIA experience and utilizing electronic models.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Five years of related experience.
    • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
    • Ability to read and understand bill of materials.
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English.

  •  Quality Inspector - 1st Shift

    Summary:

    Ensure product manufactured meets or exceeds customer and internal requirements through the verification of compliance to drawings, standards, specifications, or other contractual documents; and when applicable, First Article inspection in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

    A successful candidate will have the technical aptitude and professional demeanor to drive to root cause issues, interact and communicate with different levels within the organization, and earn respect of management, peers, and production personnel. This is a hands on job and the candidate will be expected to spend 70% of their daily activity in production area creating value and eliminating defects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review and approve work orders and planning to ensure compliance to customer specifications.
    • Perform review of certifications and other documents supplied with parts and/or tools for requirements to work order.
    • Verify manufacturing processes in various departments in accordance to written requirements.
    • Perform dimensional inspection of parts and/or tools in accordance with applicable drawings and standards.
    • Review and interpret drawings or specifications for any required production test prior to acceptance and release of product and/or tools.
    • Maintain accurate and legible records traceable to each work order and measuring device calibration, including hard copies and computer databases.

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Prior college or technical school coursework.
    • Prior experience as a Quality Inspector.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Basic computer experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
    • Ability to read basic drawings and understand specifications.
    • Ability to use basic measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and scales.
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
    • Ability to pass the pre-employment process which may include a drug screen and criminal background check.

    Responsible to oversee production and actively supervise personnel.

    Responsible for composite layup and bagging which would include:

    Cutting material, following template and/or work order;

    Apply layers of material to a mold or tool, pressing to fit contours and remove air pockets and wrinkles;

    Encase mold in bagging material, attach vacuum apparatus, and exhaust air to seal for curing. Test seals to ensure part will be properly cured.

    Must be able to read and understand written and verbal work orders; follow detailed instructions; and communicate questions and suggestions to supervisor.

    Requires: hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to lift/carry/push/pull heavy items; ability to stand for extended periods of time.
