    Responsible to deliver and pick up materials and parts in the Wichita area; receive, check, store and issue materials; load, unload and deliver materials to various locations throughout the facility; prepare and package parts using proper procedures and materials; use computer hardware/software to maintain inventory, enter and retrieve data and other computer input requirements.  Must be able to read and understand written and verbal work orders; follow detailed instructions; and communicate questions and suggestions to supervisor.  Requires hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to lift/carry/push/pull materials; ability to stand for extended periods of time in an area with limited climate control.    Requires current valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and ability to secure a DOT certificate.

    Material Cutter

    Responsible for accurately cutting material including loading rolls; accurate layout and measuring; and monitoring machine operation.     Painter

    Responsible to read and understand written work orders: prepare work surfaces and mix/measure application materials; apply paint coatings including primer and top coat; inspect work for mistakes and take appropriate steps for correction; document work in writing. Must have working knowledge of aerospace paint application including top coat.     Quality Engineer

    LTC is looking for a Quality Engineer to add to our fantastic team.  Customer Centric is the best way to describe LTC and the Quality Engineer works with the plant teams to ensure that products are fully operational, effective, free of defects and exceed customer requirements and expectations.

    Responsibilities entail:

    • Verify the quality of products while troubleshooting, rectifying and eliminating defects when identified
    • Develop and document quality processes and procedures
    • Manage non-conforming product outputs including their identification, control, and disposition
    • Monitor, measure, analyze, and evaluate the performance of the quality management system
    • Process and products audits per ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards
    • Assist with First Article Inspection coordination and completion

    A successful candidate will have the technical aptitude and professional demeanor to drive to root cause issues, interact and communicate with different levels within the organization, and earn respect of management, peers, and shop floor personnel.  This is a hands on job and the candidate will be expected to spend 70% of their daily activity out on the shop floor creating value, driving change and eliminated defects.

    Quality Inspector

    • Provides detailed in-process inspections on manufactured products using detailed drawings, models, and established processes to verify conformance to design requirements.
    • Documents production non-conformances in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes.
    • Ensures company policies and procedures are complied with for the receiving and storage of composite raw materials.
    • Supports Quality Management System policies and procedure documentation; assess compliance to company and industry standards, initiate and lead continual improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

    Requires inspection experience including work with root cause/corrective action systems.
    Must be able to read and interpret design drawings; and be able to perform FAI’s, PQR’s, and SRDR’s.  Must be able to effectively communicate with engineering and production groups.
    Must be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing priorities and tasks as delegated.  Requires: hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to frequently lift/carry up to 20 lbs.; ability to stand for extended periods of time in work area with limited climate control.

    Machinist

    Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce parts. Includes fabrication, modification, and repair mechanical instruments.

    • Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output
    • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
    • Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
    • Select appropriate machines (e.g. lathes) and position or load material for a job
    • Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine etc.
    • Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues
    • Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
    • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
    • Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages
