  •  Quality Inspector

    Quality Inspector

    • Provides detailed in-process inspections on manufactured products using detailed drawings, models, and established processes to verify conformance to design requirements.
    • Documents production non-conformances in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes.
    • Ensures company policies and procedures are complied with for the receiving and storage of composite raw materials.
    • Supports Quality Management System policies and procedure documentation; assess compliance to company and industry standards, initiate and lead continual improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

    Requires inspection experience including work with root cause/corrective action systems.
    Must be able to read and interpret design drawings; and be able to perform FAI’s, PQR’s, and SRDR’s.  Must be able to effectively communicate with engineering and production groups.
    Must be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing priorities and tasks as delegated.  Requires: hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to frequently lift/carry up to 20 lbs.; ability to stand for extended periods of time in work area with limited climate control.

    Material Cutter

    Responsible for accurately cutting material including loading rolls; accurate layout and measuring; and monitoring machine operation. Must be able to read and understand written and verbal work orders; follow detailed instructions; and communicate questions and suggestions to supervisor.  Requires hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to lift/carry/push/pull materials; ability to stand for extended periods of time in a work area with limited climate control.  Prefer experience using Bluejay and/or Lectra machines.

    Manufacturing Engineer

    Provides engineering expertise to the technical team and other departments; provides technical solutions to manufacturing processes and procedures; streamlines manufacturing processes, procedures and methodologies to improve product outcomes.

    Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently.  Requires manufacturing knowledge; basic computer skills; familiarity with SolidWorks, MasterCam, and/or similar CAD software.  Prefer composite manufacturing knowledge; mechanical aptitude; and degree in engineering or related field.

  •  Machinist

    Machinist

    Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce parts. Includes fabrication, modification, and repair mechanical instruments.

    • Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output
    • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
    • Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
    • Select appropriate machines (e.g. lathes) and position or load material for a job
    • Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine etc.
    • Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues
    • Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
    • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
    • Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages

    Works in a loud area with exposure to extreme heat and vibration.  Required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear; and have visual acuity.  Must be able to move in and out of elevated area with very small maneuvering space.  Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    Autoclave Operator

    Responsible for set up and operation of autoclaves, ovens, and auxiliary equipment to cure and bond composite assemblies according to specification.  Includes loading material into autoclaves/ovens, monitoring curing process, and work documentation.

    Works in a loud area with exposure to extreme heat and vibration.  Required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear; and have visual acuity.  Must be able to move in and out of elevated area with very small maneuvering space.  Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    Assembly Associate

    Assemble parts as directed by work orders; finish parts by laying out, trim, drill, countersink, fill, and sand.  Includes use of small hand tools such as drills and sanders.  Must be able to read and understand written and verbal work orders; follow detailed, multi-step instructions; and communicate questions and suggestions.  Requires: hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to lift and carry materials; ability to stand for extended periods of time in a work area with limited climate control.  Prefer composite assembly experience.
