  •  Maintenance Associate

    LTC is currently accepting applications for Electrician Apprentice/Maintenance Technician. The applicant will be assisting in wiring control panels, machine wiring, and building wiring, etc. all in an industrial setting. With instruction and training you will be running conduit, landing wires, pulling wire, assembling and wiring control panels, etc. Electrical knowledge and experience a plus. Depending on company priorities you may be asked to help in other areas of the maintenance department as needed. EEO/AA M/F/Veteran/Disabled

    • Applicants are required to be able to work 40 hours/wk plus overtime, sometimes with little to no notice
    • Able to crawl, kneel, stand, walk, etc. all day on concrete floors
    • Must have current/valid driver’s license
    • Must have their own reliable transportation to work
    • Comfortable with heights (30 feet average)
    • Comfortable working in confined spaces
    • Able to work on ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc

  •  Shipping Associate

    Shipping Associate

    Responsible to deliver and pick up materials and parts in the Wichita area; receive, check, store and issue materials; load, unload and deliver materials to various locations throughout the facility; prepare and package parts using proper procedures and materials; use computer hardware/software to maintain inventory, enter and retrieve data and other computer input requirements.  Must be able to read and understand written and verbal work orders; follow detailed instructions; and communicate questions and suggestions to supervisor.  Requires hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to lift/carry/push/pull materials; ability to stand for extended periods of time in an area with limited climate control.    Requires current valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and ability to secure a DOT certificate.

  •  Press Operator

    Press Operator

    • Set up and operate presses and auxiliary equipment to cure and bond assemblies according to specifications.
    • Read and interpret shop orders to determine cure process specifications.
    • Connect thermocouples and vacuum lines to fittings.
    • Adjust manual controls or enter commands in computerized control panel to regulate and activate press power supply, cooling system, vacuum, heat, and pressure gauges and recorders.
    • Monitor instruments, switches, and recorders and listen for warning signals during press operation to ensure conformance to specifications, and modifies or aborts process as required.
    • Maintain manual or computerized press processing records.

    Requires hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to lift/carry/push/pull materials; ability to stand for extended periods of time in an area with limited climate control.  This position is exposed to extreme heat, and the noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

    Layup Associate

  •  Quality Inspector

    Quality Inspector

    • Provides detailed in-process inspections on manufactured products using detailed drawings, models, and established processes to verify conformance to design requirements.
    • Documents production non-conformances in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes.
    • Ensures company policies and procedures are complied with for the receiving and storage of composite raw materials.
    • Supports Quality Management System policies and procedure documentation; assess compliance to company and industry standards, initiate and lead continual improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

    Requires inspection experience including work with root cause/corrective action systems.
    Must be able to read and interpret design drawings; and be able to perform FAI’s, PQR’s, and SRDR’s.  Must be able to effectively communicate with engineering and production groups.
    Must be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing priorities and tasks as delegated.  Requires: hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to frequently lift/carry up to 20 lbs.; ability to stand for extended periods of time in work area with limited climate control.

  •  Machinist

    Machinist

    Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce parts. Includes fabrication, modification, and repair mechanical instruments.

    • Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output
    • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
    • Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
    • Select appropriate machines (e.g. lathes) and position or load material for a job
    • Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine etc.
    • Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues
    • Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
    • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
    • Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages

    Works in a loud area with exposure to extreme heat and vibration.  Required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear; and have visual acuity.  Must be able to move in and out of elevated area with very small maneuvering space.  Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  •  Autoclave Operator

    Autoclave Operator

    Responsible for set up and operation of autoclaves, ovens, and auxiliary equipment to cure and bond composite assemblies according to specification.  Includes loading material into autoclaves/ovens, monitoring curing process, and work documentation.

    Works in a loud area with exposure to extreme heat and vibration.  Required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear; and have visual acuity.  Must be able to move in and out of elevated area with very small maneuvering space.  Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    Assembly Associate

    Assemble parts as directed by work orders; finish parts by laying out, trim, drill, countersink, fill, and sand.  Includes use of small hand tools such as drills and sanders.  Must be able to read and understand written and verbal work orders; follow detailed, multi-step instructions; and communicate questions and suggestions.  Requires: hand/finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to lift and carry materials; ability to stand for extended periods of time in a work area with limited climate control.  Prefer composite assembly experience.
