The implementation of this system is for the purpose of demonstrating the ability to consistently provide the design, manufacture and fabrication of products made from advanced composite materials for aerospace and armor applications. All products produced at LTC are made from materials and processes that meet and/or exceed our customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Sophisticated & Robust Manufacturing Systems

LTC continually reinvests in advanced systems and state-of-the-art equipment. Our manufacturing space includes:

  • A laboratory with a high-definition X-ray, 3D laser scanning capabilities, environmental conditioning chambers, mechanical testing equipment, and an NIJ-compliant ballistic test range
  • 30,000 square feet of certified clean room lay-up capacity for processing composite and ceramic armor
  • Digitally controlled presses, ovens and autoclaves that allow us to precisely maintain the engineering development parameters in a high-volume production environment
